Event marketing agency in Nigeria for Lagos and Abuja shows

Nigeria is the largest events market in West Africa and the noisiest. A show competes with everything else happening in Lagos that week. We build campaigns that reach the exact buyers, exhibitors and delegates a show needs, then prove where every registration came from.

Venues

Venues we work around in Nigeria

Every plan starts with the venue, because the venue decides the commuter routes for billboards, the geo-fence for retargeting and the crowd the onsite team will meet.

Channels

Channels that work for Nigerian events

Where the audience for a show in Lagos and Abuja actually is, and how we reach them.

Visitors in an exhibition hall
  • Search

Strong intent volume for Lagos exhibitions in packaging, food processing, construction and energy. Search carries a real share of registrations here, unlike smaller markets.

  • Social

Meta and LinkedIn for B2B, with TikTok and X for consumer events. LinkedIn is where Nigerian exhibitors and sponsors are reached.

  • WhatsApp

Reminder and community campaigns on WhatsApp outperform email for attendance confirmation in Nigeria. We build and run the lists.

  • Out-of-home

Third Mainland Bridge, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ikorodu Road, Ozumba Mbadiwe and the airport corridor are the placements that reach a show's audience. Digital boards allow a countdown creative in the final week.

  • Creators

Trade creators and sector professionals through Diglancers, especially for consumer-facing shows and product launches.

  • Radio and press partnerships

Booked and negotiated when a consumer show needs mass awareness beyond digital.

Questions

Questions about event marketing in Nigeria

Short answers. Ask us anything else on a call.

How far in advance should a Lagos show start paid campaigns?

Visitor campaigns start three months out and peak in the final four weeks. Exhibitor and sponsor campaigns run almost year-round, with the heaviest push nine to six months out.

Can you handle Abuja events as well as Lagos?

Yes. Government and association events in Abuja need a different audience mix, with more LinkedIn, email and direct outreach and less consumer social.

Do you bill in naira?

We can invoice in naira or US dollars, whichever suits the organiser. Media platforms are billed at cost.
